So you need to have a way in which yoo can have your email problems go unproblems:

Method List 1: 43folders.com

Shut off auto-check - Either turn off automatic checking completely, or set it to something reasonable, like every 20 minutes or so. If you’re doing anything with new email more than every few minutes, you might want to rethink your approach. I’m sure that some of you working in North Korean missile silos need real-time email updates, but I encourage the rest of you to consider ganging your email activity into focused (maybe even timed) activity every hour or three. Process, tag, respond to the urgent ones, then get the hell back to work.

Pick off easy ones - If you can retire an email with a 1-2 line response (< 2 minutes; pref. 30 seconds), do it now. Remember: this is about action, not about cogitating and filing. Get it off your plate, and get back to work. On the other hand, don’t permit yourself to get caught up in composing an unnecessary 45-minute epistle (see next item).

Write less - Stop imagining that all your emails need to be epic literature; get better at just keeping the conversation moving by responding quickly and with short actions in the reply. Ask for more information, pose a question, or just say “I don’t know.” Stop trying to be <del>Victor Hugo</del> Marcel Proust, and just smack it over the net—especially if fear of writing a long reply is what slows your response time. N.B.: This does not mean that you should write elliptically or bypass standard grammar, capitalization, and punctuation (unless you want to look 12 years old); just that your well-written message can and should be as concise as possible. That saves everyone time.

Cheat - Use something like MailTemplate to help manage answers to frequent email subjects. Templates let you create and use boilerplate responses to the questions and requests to which you usually find yourself drafting identical replies over and over from scratch. At least use a template as a basis for your response, and then customize it for that person or situation. Don’t worry—you can still let your sparkling prose and winning wit shine through, just without having to invent the wheel 10 times each day.

Be honest - If you know in your heart that you’re never going to respond to an email, get it out of sight, archive it, or just delete it. Guilt will not make you more responsive two months from now, otherwise, you’d just do it now, right? Trust your instincts, listen to them, and stop trying to be perfect.

Method list 2: CNN.com

Admit that e-mail is managing you. Let go of your need to check e-mail every ten minutes.

Commit to keeping your inbox empty.

Create files where you can put inbox material that needs to be acted on.

Make broad headings for your filing system so that you have to spend less time looking for filed material.

Deal immediately with any e-mail that can be handled in two minutes or less but create a file for mails that will take longer.

Set a target date to empty your in box. Don't spend more than an hour at a time doing it.

Turn off automatic send/receive.

Establish regular times to review your e-mail.

Involve others in conquering your addiction.

Reduce the amount of e-mail you receive.

Save time by using only one subject per e-mail; delete extra comments from forwarded e-mail, and make the subject line detailed.

Celebrate taking a new approach to e-mail.

I hope these two methods will be more than sufficient for you and now you can manage your emails with an ease

Speed up your XP to the "EXTREME"

Windows XP is the standard of operating system these days and everybody wants his/ her XP to operate at a speed. Well here are some tips, tricks to speed up your Windows XP

Method 1: Removing visuals and effects

If you are not worried about the graphics and some other effects of windows XP, this method can speed up your Windows XP to a great extent

Right click on My Computer

Choose Properties

Choose the Advanced tab.

From the Advanced tab click the Settings button under Performance.

Select Adjust for best performance, this will uncheck all the options. Now go back and select the following:

Smooth edges of screen fonts

Use common tasks in folders

Use drop shadows for icon labels on the desktop

Use visual styles on windows and button

Method 2: Removing Extra Fonts for Speed

Windows XP has over 250 different font variations that it loads for use when the system boots up. Of these 250 variations, only a handful are used on a regular basis. Most likely, you really own use the core Windows fonts such as Tahoma, Times New Roman, Arial, Verdana, Trebuchet, and MS Sans Serif. All of the other fonts can be removed from the fonts folder. As you can imagine, loading over 250 fonts is something that will take the system more time to do. Users who have installed a fonts CD, which usually has hundreds of fonts, on their systems are increasing the amount of work their computer has to do during startup. Simply put, loading a lot of fonts will take more time, since the system has to load and index each font. Thankfully there is a very simple answer to this: Just remove the fonts that you do not use from your font directory.

You can go about removing the unneeded fronts from your font directory in a number of different ways. The best way is to move the unused fonts to a separate folder on your system so that in the event that you ever want to use one of those extra fonts again, you just have to copy it back to the fonts folder.

Caution:
When you remove fonts from your computer you will no longer be able to use them in any software application, including Microsoft Word and Excel.

Before you start removing fonts from your fonts folder, take at look at Table 8-1. These fonts are commonly used, for reasons that the table explains. Be careful not to remove any fonts on which the system normally depends.

Table 8-1 - Recommended Fonts to Keep

Font Name

Reason

Verdana

Often used on web pages and applications.

Arial

Often used within applications such as Outlook.

Trebuchet

Used in the Windows interface on the Title Bar.

Tahoma

Used in the Windows interface on the Menu Bar as well as in many applications and web pages.

Times New Roman

The default font for web pages as well as applications such as Word.

MS Sans Serif

Used in some applications and web pages.

Now that you know which fonts you should not remove, you also need to be aware of one more thing before starting your adventure in the fonts folder. Inside the fonts folder there are several fonts with similar names. The fonts are broken up not only by font name but also by the type style. For example, there is an Arial Bold, Arial Bold Itallic, Arial Itallic, etc. When sorting through the fonts to delete, you also can choose to delete only specific types of fonts.

Deleting fonts is fairly easy. But removing the fonts is a little more tricky since the fonts folder is not like a normal folder. In order to remove the fonts, you need to start off by creating folder to put the old fonts in.

Open up My Computer through the icon in your Start panel or from the icon on your Desktop. Navigate to the C: drive or whatever drive on which you have Windows installed.

Next, navigate to the Windows folder (or WINNT folder for some). If along the way you are prompted with a screen telling you that "this folder contains file that keep your system working properly; you should not modify its contents," ignore this message and click the text that says "show the contents of this folder."

Now that you are inside the Windows root folder, create a folder to store the fonts that you are going to remove from the fonts folder. Right-click on the white space that lists the folder and files and select New and then select Folder. Call your folder Fonts Backup or something similar, so that you will be able to identify that this is the place that your old fonts are.

Once you have created the new folder, open it.

Next, go back to the My Computer icon in your Start panel or Desktop and open another window. Navigate to the drive you have Windows installed on and then navigate to the windows folder. Once you are inside the Windows folder, navigate to the Fonts folder.

Now that you have both the Fonts folder open and your backup folder open, arrange the two windows on your screen so that they look like the two windows in Figure 8-5.

Figure 8-5

<img height="136" alt="Figure 8-5" src="http://common.ziffdavisinternet.com/util_get_image/10/0,1425,i=102823,00.jpg" width="200" align="center" border="0" ? />

click on image for full view

Now that the two font folders are side by side, to remove a font from the system, all you have to do is click on the icon in the Fonts folder that you do not want installed any more, and drag the icon over to the backup folder. This will automatically uninstall the font and will copy it to your backup folder.

In the event that you was to reinstall a font, all you have to do is drag the font file from the backup folder back to the Fonts folder. You will see an installation dialog that will flash just for a second as it adds the font back to the library. Once you drag the file back to the Fonts folder, the file will still remain in the backup directory because it just copies it there. After you have confirmed that it was actually installed again, feel free to delete the font file from the backup folder.

Method 3: Disabling Unneeded Services

A service is a software application that runs continuously in the background while your computer is on. The Windows operating system has numerous services that run in the background that provide basic functions to the system. Network connectivity, visual support, and external device connectivity such as printer services are all examples of the types of services that the windows services provide. Each of these services that are running in the background take up system resources such as memory and CPU time. Also, during the booting of the operating system, the service has to be loaded. On most computers, there are nearly 20 services that are loaded upon startup. Of these 20 services only a handful are system critical services. All of the others can be disabled. In order to disable a service, first you will need to know more about what the most common services do. Table 8-2 will help you understand what the most common services are, what they do, and if they can be disabled.

Table 8-2 - Common Windows Services in Use

Service Name

Service Use

Automatic Updates

Used to download and then install updates automatically without the user going to Windows Update manually. This service is not system critical and can be disabled but unless you check for updates regularly, it is not recommended to disable this service.

Background Intelligent Transfer Service

A service that transfers data in the background when the connection is not in use. One use of this service is to download updates automatically in the background. This service is not system critical but can impair other services such as automatic updates if it is disabled.

Com+ Event System

Basically controls the notification of certain system events such as log on and log off. The system event notification is dependent on this service. This service is system critical.

Computer Browser

Keeps track of the other computers on your network running the Microsoft Client for networking. This is what provides the list of computers when you are browsing your workgroup computer in My Network Places. This service is not system critical and can be disabled if you do not need the network browsing function.

Cryptographic Services

Basically manages system security certificates as well as provides a database of signatures of key windows files. This service is not system critical but it is required to install many Microsoft programs that want to check system file signatures. It is not recommended to disable this service because doing so would not allow Windows Update to run and install new updates.

DCOM Server Process Launcher

Basically is in charge of starting various other services. This service is required for RPC which is required for over 39 other services to run. Because of that, it is not a good idea to disable this one.

DHCP Client

Provides support for dynamic network configuration. This service is not system critical but is needed for those that do not set their IP address manually.

Distributed Link Tracking Client

Keeps track of links to files on a NTFS volume on your computer or across a network. This service is not system critical and can be disabled.

DNS Client

Resolves domain names into IP addresses as well as caches lookup results. This service is not system critical but you will not be able to browse the internet without it started.

Error Reporting Service

Allows users to report failures of applications directly to Microsoft so that Microsoft may fix bugs in its software if it is the culprit. This service is not system critical and can be safely disabled.

Event Log

Allows event messages to be recorded to be viewed in Event Viewer. This service is system critical and can not be disabled.

Fast User Switching Compatibility

Allows users to switch to other users on the same system without logging off. If you do not need to have your time synchronized, this service can be safely disabled.

Wireless Zero Configuration

Configures wireless 802.11 devices. If you do not have any wireless hardware installed, you may safely disable this service.

Workstation

Allows your computer to make connections to other computers and servers. This service is not system critical but it is needed for any basic networking.

Now that you know which services can be disabled and which services are important to your system, you can safely speed up your boot by disabling the extra services using the services management tool.

Tip:
Before you begin changing your service setup, set a System Restore Point to easily restore your system to an earlier configuration. However, be careful when you restore from restore points. Any applications or files that were created after the system restore point will be deleted when reverting back to an earlier restore point.

Figure 8-6

<img height="117" alt="Figure 8-6" src="http://common.ziffdavisinternet.com/util_get_image/10/0,1425,i=102825,00.jpg" width="200" align="center" border="0" ? />

click on image for full view

The Services utility is included in all versions of Windows XP and but is hidden away. Do the following to disable a service using the Services utility:

Click on the Start menu and select Run. In the text box type services.msc and click OK. This will start the Services utility as shown in Figure 8-6.

Now that you are in the Services utility, you will see a list of a lot of services on your computer. First you will need to stop the service that you want to disable. Right click on the service name and select Stop on the pop-up menu.

When the service is stopped, right click on the service again and select Properties. Located on the General tab, look for the Startup Type drop-down box. Click on the arrow on the drop-down box and select Disabled.

Click on the OK button and from now on, the system will not start the service any more during boot speeding up your system start

To get the maximum amount of performance out of your system, you have the option of disabling all of the services on your computer that are not critical to the system. For viruses, we have some good and trusted anti-viruses at our hands but for spywares, the one who claims to be an anti-spywares are itself a spywares and infects our computers. So anti-spywares still can’t be trusted as the best solution for spywares as many of them removes some of the spywares on your computers and according to the policy of give and take, that is followed by most of them in the market today, it installs some spy-wares on your computer. So what could be the solution of spywares.

Well, in my view the best solution and that can be regarded as the only trusted anti-spyware is “Microsoft System Restore”.

What is System Restore?

System Restore is a built in tool in Microsoft’s Windows XP that records your Windows XP system configuration before you install any software on your computer by which you can easily restore your computer to an earlier time. This works like a system-wide undo, letting you fix any problems that a new piece of software or hardware or something else has caused. The changes made by System Restore are completely reversible and changes only your system configurations and not your data. You can configure System Restore to create restore points daily or whenever you install a software in your PC or you can manually create a restore point.

Here are the steps to cofigure and restoring your system with the help of System Restore:

To access System Restore, click Start > All Programs > Accessories > System Tools > System Restore. If your System Restore is turned on and have been creating restore points in the past, you will be presented with a calendar showing you the restore points that are present to restore the system. If not, you can choose to create one before you install a new application.

Oh no! I have accidentally downloaded a spyware and installed it on my computer but my system restore is working, what I do now. In that case go to System Restore and select a restore point that is created on a date that you think is that date before the introduction of spyware on your PC. Remember, this will undo all changes made to your system, including any software updates, though it won't delete documents you've created since the restore point. So be conservative; you can always try again with an earlier restore point.

Once the spyware is removed by the system restore process and you beleive that every thing is right, you should delete your saved restore points so that you don’t inadvertently use System Restore and reinstall the spyware on your PC. To turn off the System Restore process, right-click the My Computer icon on your desktop, click the System Restore tab, click the check box next to "Turn off System Restore on all drives." Click OK, then repeat the process, unchecking the box to turn System Restore back on so that System Restore is turned on again.

When downloading a software that you think might be a spyware, no problem if you have System Restore configured to create restore points before each install, but if not manually create a restore point before you install. Click System Restore, then Start > All Programs > Accessories > System Tools > System Restore, and choose "Create a restore point." Follow the prompts and install the software without any fear. If something goes wrong you can always restore it back to your original configuration by the restore point you created now.

Make Unattended Windows XP installation CD

<img alt="Uattended1" src="http://www.satudebol.com/blogger/uattended1.jpg" border="0" / />

Windows XP is susceptible for virus and spyware atteacks even after the release of three service packs. Once you have created an answer file successfully, you can edit it with the Setup Manager by selecting “Modify an existing answer file” and providing a path to it.

<img alt="Uattended3" src="http://www.satudebol.com/blogger/uattended3.jpg" border="0" / />

Type of answer file to be used:

Windows Unattended Installation - Unattended installations use setup scripts to answer installation questions and to automate the Setup process. For me that would be “Windows XP Professional”.

<img alt="Uattended5" src="http://www.satudebol.com/blogger/uattended5.jpg" border="0" / />

Run Once - As you can see in the Run Once section it has all ready set up the command to add the printer. There are other commands you could use here also. In the answer file I am creating here I would be setting up the disk partitions manually. If you wanted to have the answer file do it for you, you would add the command for it here also. This would require you to create a new batch file. Once again, you can make this as simple or advanced as you like.

More information can be found at Microsoft TechNet on how to have your answer file format your partitions for you.

<img alt="Uattended6" src="http://www.satudebol.com/blogger/uattended6.jpg" border="0" / />

Additional Commands - This is somewhat more of an advanced feature. It allows you to have setup install things that you would normally want to install right after Windows XP. If you desire to venture into it and what it can do for you, Creating a Combination Installation is an example of one way to use this. This would require you to choose different options in the setup manager than we did here. For this article we are going to leave it blank. Now click Finish.

<img alt="Uattended7" src="http://www.satudebol.com/blogger/uattended7.jpg" border="0" / />

Save the Answer File - Now put in your formatted floppy disk into your A drive. Where it says “Location and file name”, type in A:\winnt.sif. It should look just like the image below. Since we are using the CD Boot method, we must name the answer file winnt.sif. Click OK.

If you do not have a Floppy drive or just want to put it on your Windows XP CD - You will need to save the answer file to your hard drive as winnt.sif. You will be required to make a backup of your Windows XP CD. First of all, you will need to extract the contents of your Windows XP CD to your hard drive. Then you must add winnt.sif to the I386 folder. You will not need to use the batch file (winnt.bat). Don’t forget to add winnt.sif first. After extracting Windows XP from the hard drive you can not just burn it to a CD (it won't be bootable). Follow the instructions at Binks site on How to make your XP bootable. I would also recommend using a CD-RW the first time you try doing this. If you mess something up you will not be wasting your CD-Rs.

<img alt="Uattended8" src="http://www.satudebol.com/blogger/uattended8.jpg" border="0" / />

Setup Manager Complete - Congratulations! You have now created your first answer file. Here it is telling you that it has created two files for you.

winnt.sif - This is the answer file

<img alt="Uattended9" src="http://www.satudebol.com/blogger/uattended9.jpg" border="0" / />

Now go to where you saved your answer file. Right click on winnt.sif and open with notepad. You should see something similar to what you see below except that it should your answers instead of mine. If you want to make some last minute changes do so now.

If you like to make multiple partitions on your hard drive you will need to make a minor change to the answer file. In the [Data] section have a look at AutoPartition. With the current setting at one it will automatically choose a partition to install to. This will take away your option to make partitions. If you would rather create your own partitions set the 1 to 0. I recommend you do this if you already have an operating system installed on your computer that you would like to start fresh with or if you want XP to create a dual boot for you. You should have a second partition to do a dual boot.

<p align="center" class="MsoNormal" style="MARGIN-TOP: 0in; Well everyone of us like watching youtube videos and most of us now or then wishes to save them on your PC. But don’t know the way how to really do it. Well Techall.blogspot.com is going to teach you how to do all that.

Well, before continuing I would like to make you aware that youtube videos are highly compressed in Flash format i.e. .flv format and you need a special player, going to tell you later about it more, to view them after saving to your computer or you need to convert them into other formats through some convertors.

Now let us discuss the ways of downloading the youtube videos

There are two ways for downloading the youtube videos into your computer:

Method 1: Youtube Downloading Sites

Youtube Downloading sites are the most popular and the easiest ways to download youtube videos into your computer. Keepvid.com is a great video downloading site which can be used for downloading not only Youtube videos but many other video sites such as google videos, metacafe and many more. The best advantage of Keepvid is that it does not requires you to download any special software or plugin and can be used on any OS platform as it is totally browser based. So the big question how to do it with Keepvid and here is the answer

Step 1: Type address http://www.Keepvid.com in your browser address bar.

Step 2: Go to Youtube.com, don’t close the keepvid.com, find your video to download and copy the url of the video in the address bar which should look like this http://youtube.com/watch?w=esfasss

Step 3: Paste the url of the video in the Keepvid.com site at the place which looks like this.

Step 4: Select its originating site, for Youtube videos select youtube.

Step 5: Click on “Download” button .

Step 6: After you enter the url, Keepvid.com will ask you to change the suffix of the download file such as video.htm to video.flv.

The video will be downloaded to your site but the biggest disadvantage of Keepvid is that it doesn’t convert the file format. That means, you have to download an FLV Player to view your download.

Another good site for saving an online video is YoutubeDownloader. To download with it follow the same method as you did it for keepvid. However youtubedownloader supports only youtube videos. With this also you willl have to either have an flv player or a flv convertor.

Method 2: Downloading Videos with Firefox

Firefox has recently been the boss of the browsers and the reasons why it excelled over IE is its ability to offer great extensions to its users to manipulate the way it works according to their requirements.

For downloading youtube videos, there are many extensions in the market offering that but the one I like the most is Video Downloader extension which can download and store videos from about 60 video sites. Install video downloader extension into firefox and then open youtube video site, choose your video and start playing it. You will see a new icon in the bottom right corner of the window. To save the video, click on the icon and a pop up comes up asking you to click on the download link. Click on the download link an you have downloaded the video.

Hide Blogger Navbar From Your Blog

Blogger.com is the most widely used blogger sites aroud the world which is followed by Wordpress. But despite of that there are some limitations to blogger such as limited templates, no categories and many more. But the most often unliked feature of blogger is the “Blogger navbar”.

A Blogger navbar is a 50 pixels small bar placed on the top of your blog throughout the browser window. It has the following butons on it:

The first button on it is of “Blogger Homepage”. Click on it and you are directed to “Blogger.com”

The second is a search button which search “Google Blogs search engine” for the search term

“Next blog” is the third one, which takes you to any randomly selected blog hosted by blogger.com

And finally a button for reporting objectionable contents

Well, it seems to be a useful thing initially but as you become a full time blogger or ias your blog increases popularity, you become fed up of the “Blogger Navbar” i.e. occupying valuable 50 px of your page and not fitting with the looks of your page. Moreover. it tends to take away the users from your site to either blogger.com or another randomly selected site.

Well, I am sure that yoy would be fully agree with my views stated above about the blogger navbar and you might be thinking what you can do about it. It is after all inbuilt and automated but I’ll now going to teach you how to “Hide or Remove your Blogger Navbar”. Here are the steps:

Step 1: Open the site Blogger.com.

Step 2: Login to your Blogger account.

Step 3: Go to the blog you want to customize.

Step 4: Click on the “Template” button.

Step 5: Copy and Paste this code in your blogger template just after the <head> tag.
<background ?black?="">

<style type="text/css">
#b-navbar {
height:0px;
visibility:hidden;
display:none
}
</style>

Step 6: Save the template.

Step 7: Republish the blog.

Step 8: View your Blog.

So the above method was for hiding the blogger navbar for the older version. But with the Blogger’s new version Blogger Beta started up recently the code has to be modified a little bit. A detailed procedure for hiding out navbar in Blogger Beta is below

Hide navbar in Blogger Beta or New Blogger

Step 1: Open the site Blogger.com.

Step 2: Login to your new Blogger account.

Step 3: Click on the “Template” button in front of the blog you want to customize.

Step 4: Copy and Paste this code in your blogger template just after the <head> tag.
<background ?black?="">
<table width="459" bgcolor="#ffffff" border="0" ?red? color="" font>

<style type="text/css">
 #navbar-iframe {
 height:0px;
 visibility:hidden;
 display:none
 } </style>

Step 6: Save the template.

Step 7: View your Blog.

So you now know how to hide the blogger navbar with great ease. There are other techniques fo hiding the blogger navbar but they cause invalid HTML format giving you troubles with the google indexing. This is the most successful technique I have found recently. If you want those other techniques tell me through the comments.

Dataone Bandwidth Getter for Bsnl users

Dataone Bandwidth getter is a great software for the BSNL dataone broadband users who are fed up of BSNL’s dataone portal made by BSNL for the users to know their usage of broadband. The greatest disadvantage of BSNL’s dataone portal is that it does not show the actual usage i.e. excluding night usage. But in Dataone Bandwidth getter you get all the things you need to know about your bandwidth. It has the following features

Actual Usage can be seen i.e usage excluding night usage

Free Usage can also be seen

Free, Charged and mixed usages are shown with different colours to help you take notice of the things

Download Dataone Bandwidth Getter

Here is a screenshot of the Dataone Bandwidth getter

Moreover it offers three versions for you

Password Version – You have to enter your username and password only once as it comes with cool “remember me” feature.

Non Password Version – You have to open dataone.in, login to your account, choose service record in the right to view, and click “Check Bandwidth Usage” on the Bandwidth Getter.

Use Cache Data – If you have enabled “Retrieve only newer pages”, your service records for each month is stored as a local file. You can use this locally stored data (Cache) to generate report, without logging on to Dataone site. This option can be used if you are sure that your Dataone log has not been changed since you last checked your usage.

Validate your windows XP

Looking for Windows XP updates for your computers and what could be the better place to find out that rather that Microsoft’s official site “Microsoft.com” or thinking of installing latest windows media player 11 or internet explorer 7 on your computer. Do that mean that you can’t install it on your PC without an original Windows XP. Well, officially that is the case and you can’t install it on a pirated edition of Windows XP but unofficiially you can do that by the use of unofficial ways. To bypass IE 7.0 and WMP 11 validation steps Shaon, a blogger has given the folowing steps

Bypassing Genuine Windows Validation for Internet Explorer 7.0

Download Internet Explorer 7.0 installer from the Microsoft site. You have to choose Windows XP Service Pack 2 (SP2) as your operating system. Remember you can’t install IE 7.0 if service pack 2.0 is not installed in your operating system. And if you are facing genuine windows validation problem while downloading IE7 installer from the Microsoft site, can also download this installer alternatively from here or directly from here.

Extract the downloaded Internet Explorer setup file (IE7-WindowsXP-x86-enu.exe) using WinRAR to a directory (IE7-WindowsXP-x86-enu).

Download the patched iecustom.dll and then copy-paste it to the update folder (IE7-WindowsXP-x86-enu\update\) and click yes when asked to overwrite.

Now, download normaliz.exe . Then copy this exe file and paste it in your “C:\” drive.

Run ‘update.exe’ in the update folder (not iesetup.exe!!!). At the end, you have to choose ‘Restart Later’ (not Restart Now) option to finish the running process of the exe file.

Now you have to download normaliz.dll and then copy-paste it to “c:\windows\system32\” directory (in order to prevent problems with the file not being found after the installation). And then reboot/restart your pc.

After rebooting your pc, you may face a problem with a file called normaliz.dll that can not be found by explorer.exe. If you’re having this problem, you will find your desktop blank.(If you are not facing this problem then just go to step 8) In order to fix this problem, you have to do the following things one by one:

Press ctrl-alt-del to go to the task manager.<?xml:namespace prefix = o />

Go to “File -> New Task (Run…)” in the task manager.

Type: ‘C:\normaliz.exe’ (excluding quotation marks) in the ‘open’ field and then press the ‘ok’ button.

‘WinZip Self-Extractor - normalize.exe’ window should popped up and then press the ‘unzip’ button.

Reboot your pc and yahoo!!! now you can see your desktop contents!!!.

Now you have to run ‘xmllitesetup.exe’ in the update folder. This step is very important, because somehow if you forget to run this ‘xmllitesetup.exe’ , IE 7.0 will be installed in your PC without it's toolbar!!!

Then reboot your pc again, run Internet Explorer…and you are done!!!

Bypassing Genuine Windows Validation for Windows Media Player 11

Download Windows Media Player 11.0 (make sure its the final and latest version, not beta) from the Microsoft Site. Alternatively, you can download the installer file directly from here. Remember you can’t install Windows Media Player 11.0 if service pack 2.0 is not installed in your operating system.

Extract the downloaded Windows Media Player setup file (wmp11-windowsxp-x86-enu.exe) using WinRAR to a directory (wmp11-windowsxp-x86-enu). Now make sure you have a “LegitLibM.dll” file in the extracted “wmp11-windowsxp-x86-enu” folder.

Download the patched LegitLibM.dll and then copy-paste it to the “wmp11-windowsxp-x86-enu” folder and click yes when asked to overwrite.

Now run “setup_wm.exe” file in the “wmp11-windowsxp-x86-enu” folder.

Restart your PC, then run your Windows Media Player and you are done!!!

Synchronize Download Accelerator Plus 8.1

There has been many download accelerators in the market today aiming to give their users high downloading speed with the most efficient use of the bandwidth but the software which rules the download accelerator world is Download Accelerator Plus popularly known as DAP.
